Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Owlpine Group LLC (“Owlpine Group”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information in the Acceleration Directory (the “Directory”).

1. What we collect

• Agent profile. Full name, display name, sport or category, entity (agency), location, Instagram handle, LinkedIn and website links, biography and feature image.
• Private account details. Email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash). Your email and phone number are never shown in the Directory.
• Talent and creators you list. Their name, Instagram handle, category, biography and photo, as supplied by the listing agent.
• Messages. If someone contacts an agent through the Directory, we store their name, email address and message so the agent can read and answer it.
• Consent records. When you sign up, we record that you accepted our Terms of Use and this policy, and that you confirmed you are authorised to list the talent and creators you add, with the date and version.
• Technical data. Basic logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting and database providers, and a small browser storage item that keeps you logged in.

2. How we use it

• To create and display agent profiles, and to let visitors find agents and the talent they represent.
• To review profiles before they go live and to keep the Directory genuine and safe.
• To deliver messages sent through the contact form.
• To send essential account emails, such as confirming your email address and resetting your password.
• To secure, maintain and improve the Directory, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. What is public

Once a profile is approved, these are visible to anyone: the agent’s name, feature image, entity, location, categories, biography, Instagram, LinkedIn and website links, and the name, photo, category, biography and Instagram handle of the talent and creators they list. Contact messages, email addresses and phone numbers are not public.

4. Who we share it with

We use service providers to run the Directory, including database, authentication, file storage and hosting providers. They process information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people’s rights and safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business.

5. Talent and creators

Agents add the talent and creators they represent and confirm they have permission to do so. If you are listed and do not want to be, or want your information corrected, email contact@owlpinegroup.com and we will update or remove it.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Logging in stores a session token in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. It is removed when you log out.

7. How long we keep it

We keep profile information while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time from your profile page (Delete account). Deleting it is permanent: it immediately removes your profile, the talent and creators you listed, and the messages sent to you, except where we must keep something to meet legal obligations. Provider backups may take a short time to clear.

8. Your choices and rights

You can edit most of your profile, and delete your account, when you are logged in. You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing contact@owlpinegroup.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK or the EU), you may have additional legal rights, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and access controls on the database. No online service is completely secure, so please choose a strong password.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We take steps to protect it wherever it is handled.

11. Children

The Directory is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 for their own account.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and we will take reasonable steps to tell you about significant changes.
